Jennifer Noci is a singer/songwriter from New York whose music is rooted in emotion rather than fashion. Listening to her last full-length CD, “The Average Girl”, it’s obvious that, Jennifer calls upon rock’s passion and power as her source of inspiration and determination, not from trendy bubble gum pop or the latest flavor of the day.

Jennifer’s last album started her in a different direction than in the past, a journey that expressed feelings that were much more personal. And, it worked, because it received instantaneous and positive press.

” In the mood to relax, sip a cup of tea and sink into your favorite chair? Then don’t forget to put Jennifer Maione on the changer. That is to say this chick’s got real (not manufactured) girl power.” NY Rock Street Beat.

But her new material is now a journey of stylistic expression, one that is now allowing her the freedom to experiment with new sounds and production ideas to go along with her lyrical expression.

The sound of Jennifer's music, though original and fresh, still reflects a lifetime of listening to the greats of folk and rock, such as Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Patti Smith, the Rolling Stones and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. She considers these to be the sparks that ignited her desire to create music. Listening to her music, it is obvious that she has been successful in holding on to these influences while making her music her own.

Jennifer has had the good fortune to work with some amazing musicians and producers in the past to create songs that blend seventies and eighties rock instrumentation with contemporary production ideas. "The results have been a discovery of sounds, textures and ideas that have not only surpassed my expectations of what suits me stylistically and emotionally, but has given me the incentive to keep writing and exploring as a musician."

“Now my goal is to write songs that embody the human condition. Some of the greatest songs of all times are timeless because they are commentaries of the raw human emotions and desires that never change, no matter what the atmosphere or decade is. These are the songs that always remain relevant.”
